WHAT IS CLIMATE FIRST? We use an in-house designed climate first decision making hierarchy to ensure all of our business operations are informed with the impact on the climate front of mind. A few examples of how what we do include but are;

  • strongly advocate for the transition away from fossil fuels to renewables by advising all of our customers to Get Off Gas and electrify their homes, businesses and transport

  • actively promote sustainable renewable energy sources by using high quality solar PV components in our installs with long life spans and high output efficiency

  • seperate and recycle all packaging materials from goods sold (styrofoam, soft plastic, cardboard, hard plastics etc.)

  • travel to quotes/CBD projects by modes of transport other than car where possible. many of our jobs allow us to deploy secure tool boxes on site so our staff can ride a bike or take public transport to work

  • repair and reuse components where possible and if not, correctly recycle each component (metal recyclers, e-waste disposal, battery recycling)

  • procurement of materials in bulk, to cut down on multiple deliveries
